HOW TO ADVOCATE
Raise awareness on the issues by informing people about the conditions of life for children in Africa.
Here are some valuable tips:
STEP 1: RESEARCH - The best way to advocate is by first truly understanding the root cause and the path to resolving the issues. Click here for a great place to start your journey.
STEP 2: GUIDE - After you've internalized this research, present your audience with this information by guiding them towards their own path of understanding.
In Essence.....EACH ONE.....TEACH ONE
Here are 5 opening questions that you can use to spark the conversation today:
1. Could your family survive on less than $1 a day? (Most Commonly Used)
2. What if the only water you had access to was infested with parasitic worms, would you drink it?
3. Would your life be the same today if you COULD NOT attend school in your youth?
4. If you were in labor, would you be okay traveling by motorbike to the nearest hospital to deliver?
5. Who would you be if you didn't have the privileges that you do today?
